Would you like to Guest Blog on Thomas Marshall Does It All?

Will you guest post if I smile really big!
I am looking for more guest bloggers! I love to share the stories of other blind children and their families. There is always something we can learn from each other. Please note: This blog is about raising blind children, so if you want to blog about a recipe or shoe shopping you'll have to go somewhere else to guest post.
  • Are you a therapist who has worked with a blind child and wants to share tips and stories from your work together? Contact me.
  • Are you an Orientation & Mobility Specialist who wants to share information with parents? Contact me.
  • Are you the parent of a blind child and want to share your story? Contact me.
  • Are you a person who is blind and wants to share your perspective? Contact me.
  • Are you a teacher in a mainstream school who has taught students with blindness/visual impairments? Contact me.
  • Are you looking to guest post anywhere and don't care? Don't contact me: )  Sorry, but I get some really strange requests.

We don't let just anyone in.
Don't be afraid to say yes because you are not a "writer." I can help you by providing questions to guide your post or you can go on your own and write something up. Regardless, I will help you write something if you have a story to tell about blindness. I hope to hear from you soon!

  1. I look forward to the posts and learning something new. So far I am still at the in shock and mourning phase. It's only been three months since we got the diagnosis so I am letting myself work thought the stages of grief. I am thankful that our little onenisnoblivious and that the diagnosis hasn't changed her world one bit.

  2. I would love to be a guest blogger on your site. We are in the process of adopting a blind 3 and 1/2 year old little boys with SOD and autism. He has been living with us since he was 13 months old and is the youngest of 6 kids.

  4. I would also be interested in guest blogging...I was born partially blind (I was one of the earliest cases of PHPV diagnosed in the early 80s)...I have been really surprised at how often when I speak to people about being partially blind, what kind of insight I can provide...my friend's little boy has phpv and is still young and can't express what he can and cannot see...and i wasn't able to either (and fully comprehend what I saw/didn't see)...so she seems to appreciate my input...anyway, if that would be of any interest, just let me know! i blog about my family already (we had a lot of fears that my children would be born with phpv since i was a 1st generation...but so far my son (who is 3) doesn't display symptoms...i was diagnosed when i was 8 months old...so i'm thankful for that!

  5. I just wanted to thank you for this blog and wondered if I could possibly contact you in the future. We are in the process of adopting a 3yo boy who is blind. Your blog has been such a help to me in researching raising a child who is blind. Would love to ask you some question some time if you would be up for that. Thanks - Dana.
