Little Drummer Boy

Tom loves his new drum set! He got lots of sweet and thoughtful gifts from family and friends. I am always so touched by how many people send Tom a card or gift. It's nice to know that so many people wish him well.

A tactile wrapping job - A bow made of foam!

This was another holiday untouched by illness or surgery. That is something to celebrate!

Each year and each holiday we get to participate a little more. Tom understands so much more these days and you can really see him enjoying himself at family events during the holidays. Don't get me wrong, we still have to break for the occasional tube feeding, but that's nothing compared to what we have been through.

Here you see Tommy leading us in a rousing rendition of "Jingle Bells." When Tom begins to sing you just can't help but sing along. Kids show you what Christmas spirit is all about. No need for sappy holiday movies when you have little ones around.

Now if this snow storm would just let up enough for Tommy and my mother and I to drive to DC to see my brother and his family, everything would be just about perfect!
