Uh oh. Better go to bed- it's school time! |
Tomorrow is Tommy's first day back at school. We are so excited because Tommy loves school and misses his teachers, therapists and aides. He talked about them all summer!
And that's a big change too- he talks. He's really having conversations now and it has made life so much easier. I can't wait to see what everyone at school thinks of this older and wiser Tommy.
He's doing the funniest imitations. He's very fond of saying, "that's enough!" I just saw him imitating my husband who is on the phone. He was even holding his hands like he was holding a phone and having a little conversation. It is so great to see Tom do the type of stuff little kids should be doing. Normal can be very, very exciting!
Time to hit the books! Tom explores the cover of a Braille book. |
And we have some big changes coming up on the website. I am working with a web developer to totally re-vamp the site! I can't wait to debut the new site. It will be easier for you to comment and the site will function a whole lot better. I have been thinking about this for a while and finally decided it's time to upgrade.
Vote to Bring Marty Home to Tommy
Voting starts tomorrow for the Wonderbaby SMART Brailler Giveaway. Marty (the SMART Brailler) traveled all around the country visiting blogging families. We were the first family that Marty visited and it was a blast. Now voters will decide which family gets to keep Marty. You can vote once a day (every 24 hours) at Wonderbaby. Be sure to check out all the cool blogging families that got to meet Marty.
