The Vote Goes On...

Marty the SMART Brailler still needs a new place to live. Each of the families that got to meet Marty want to keep him, but there's only one Marty to be given away. So you gotta vote! http://www.wonderbaby.org/backpacking-smart-brailler-vote

You can come back to vote every 24 hours and the winner will be announced on September 9th. We are in 4th place. Give us a boost! Find us on Facebook (cause I share lots of good links and picture there.) You can help Tommy out by sharing this on Facebook. And now I'll shut up about that...

In other news...

Did I tell you we got a Power Wheels Quad for Tommy recently?

Vroom!
He thinks it's pretty awesome. It involves a lot of work on our part to keep him on track because our yard has a cliff but it's so worth it. We weren't sure what Tom would think of the sound or the movement, but he had no problems.

This kid was born to ride. Maybe he needs a leather jacket for his upcoming birthday?

He really takes off on the quad. It is good exercise for us.
Then it got even better this past weekend when he got to ride a real motorcycle. Here we are with Uncle Scott on a Can-Am Spyder 3-wheel motorcycle. At first Tommy went for a short ride around the cul-de-sac with Scott. Tom was very tight and curled up. He is always like that in unfamiliar situations.

Then I jumped on too and we went for a breezy ride around the neighborhood. Tom began to sit up straight and relax. When we got onto a main road and the wind picked up he put his hands out to his sides to feel the air. He was loving it. He was leaning into me and resting his head on Scott's back. I couldn't believe how relaxed he had become. Who knew motorcycles could be so relaxing?

Tom loved his ride.
