A skeleton at the door! |
If you have a light box and have used plastic gel mats on them this is the same idea.
Here's what you need.
- A window on a sunny day.
- sandwich bags
- colorful paints (non-toxic - I used cheap fabric paints I already had)
- tape
- cooking oil (optional)
Squirt some bright (non-toxic) paints into sandwich bags and add a little cooking oil to help it move around in the bag. Seal up the bags and then tape them to a bright window. Then your child can have fun squishing the paint around the bags with their fingers.
You can see a braille label for window above the bag with red paint! |
The paint really looks beautiful in the bright light and it's a cheap and quick activity. I had all the supplies already. Give it a try!
