Pizza

Tom came down with a summer cold this weekend which put our wean on hold. You can hardly expect a child that doesn't feel good to work on a wean, so we went back to regular bolus feeds of formula while still offering him food by mouth.

On Monday he couldn't make it through his occupational therapy session so I knew he needed to go to the doctors to be checked out. Normally he loves his therapy at the Children's Institute. It turns out he has an ear infection so we started antibiotics yesterday. I was sad to stop the wean but his health is more important of course.

Yay! Pizza.

Tonight he ate a piece of pizza! It was one slice cut in half, but still, he ate the whole thing. I am amazed. Let's hope this is a sign of things to come.
