Writing His Own Story

Tommy is writing his own story. I get so tired of the comments I get about Tommy's blindness. I don't need to hear all the negativity and neither does Tom. Especially Tom! He is a happy child who is living his life the only way he knows how.

You never know what life has is store, but we only get one life to live. You have to use what you were given and go for it. That's what we intend to do.

  1. I have never seen a happier little boy! I would like to think they are only being negative about my big guy due to ignorance.

  2. I, too get tired of all the negativity of “poor Jonah” my child is a happy child and does many different things without sitting in front of a tv 6 hours a day and he makes people laugh…not too many people can resist his cuteness but I do not like people pitying him because he has a full life--we should all take lessons from these children about writing our own stories. As parents we want to protect them from this negativity but I guess one day they will have to handle it. Thank you for this blog--it really helps me to remember what is important.
