Too Much Winter

If it's going to be this cold we might as well look good, right?

I don't know where you are, but it is crazy cold here in Pittsburgh. And I mean CRAZY cold. School was cancelled today and will be cancelled tomorrow too. It's just too cold to send kids to school and have them waiting for a bus outside. 

Now I drive Tom to school but still, I hate to take him out in this. His school has residential students so it never really closes. I took Tom into school today but even being out a little bit gave him wind burn on his cheeks. We might both be home tomorrow. It is just too cold out!

And by the way- I read Tommy a Little Golden Book from my childhood tonight, "Scuffy the Tugboat." He was not impressed. He was sound asleep only three pages in. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.
